my love of skin started with my love for makeup.

i have been practicing makeup since i can remember.

upon my teenage years, i was swept away with the world of modeling and every realm that fell under the industry,

i asked each creative on set all the questions on each set i was hired for and paid close attention to detail.

 

i studied and practiced constantly, and began booking proms and weddings when i turned 18.

​

during this time, i also suffered from severe acne.

being a teenager in the 2000s modeling industry + having bad skin=

a very self conscious girl who suffered mentally from standards that are now outdated. the condition lasted well into my twenties with two pregnancies only making it worse. to top it off........

i scarred horrendously!

with all of that being said, i have since cleared my acne+ scarring but i understand first hand what it's like to feel completely hopeless and embarrassed by the skin on your face.

 

in 2014, after three years at a desk job while doing freelance makeup as a side gig, i decided to just 'GO FOR IT and obtain my aesthetics license to fuRther my success in the makeup industry and aid individuals who struggle with their skin as i did.
